"Educational" Endeavors

Now that Bella can walk I had great aspirations to enroll her in a Little Gym or Gymboree class until I did a demo at each, learned how much it was a month, and decided we will just continue to go to the park every day!!  She really could have cared less about Gymboree but I think it had more to do with the teacher that day.  She really liked Little Gym and all the equipment, balls, parachute, bubbles (which she can now say), music, etc but it was still way more money than I thought the experience was worth.  The one thing they tried to get her to do, but she screamed, was a forward roll.  She was not having any of it.  Since then I do a roll everyday in an attempt to show her how it's done and she signs "all done"!  Guess she's not going to be a future gymnast!

At Little Gym
Clearly a fan of the bubbles!
Having our own music jam session at home

In other educational attempts we went to the Tech Museum down in San Jose.  Every full weekend of the month there are certain area museums you can get into for free if you are a Bank of America debit card holder.  She was way too young for anything in the museum but it was a nice open area for her to run around in with lots of things to touch.  She did also learn that if you run and fall hitting your head on the wall, it really hurts!  Poor thing!  If I had time to read all the exhibits I might have enjoyed the museum more but none the less it was a fun day out and one more thing we can say we did in California.
