What she can do:
-she has gone from cooing to "speaking" gibberish. She uses all sorts of sounds and strings them all together like she is telling a story but the only word is still dada.
-she FINALLY rolled to her tummy...she still doesn't like being there and only does it to reach for things.
-she will lurch forward into a crawling position from sitting but doesn't yet crawl
-she likes to pull up and stand
-she can feed herself with a spoon!! we load the spoon up and she shovels it in!
-she can finally get more than half the cheerios in her mouth instead of her lap or stuck to her chin
-she plays peek-a-boo with any and all objects even if its a rattle I can see her behind anyway!
-I think these are older skills I have already posted but just in case: waves goodbye, gives high five, drinks from a sippy cup/holds her own bottle, claps her hands
We will have her 9 month appointment next week...curious to see her measurements.
In older news....sorry for the delay in posting....David's Grandmother (who we call Namie) and her husband (Bob) were in from Florida for a visit. Bella of course cried at first (still in the throws of stranger anxiety) but then was as sweet as could be. We went out for a nice sushi dinner and felt so privileged Bella got to meet her great-grandmother!
This past weekend we also took a trip to the beach
Looks like life is good in the bay area! So happy for you guys!!! Enjoy every moment.. it goes by so fast!
