Bella is 10 months

Ok, seriously time flies way too fast.  I feel like we just skipped Bella being 9 months....and now she is somehow 10!  David's sister always has said that each stage is so much more fun, and while I LOVE each stage, she is right....it continues to get more fun.  For better or worse Bella definitely looks like her daddy but has her mama's personality (yikes!).  She acts shy and quiet but heaven help us if she doesn't get her way.  The girl can scream, tense her body, and down-right throw a fit!  I used to give her the "I don't think so" glare but now I just completely ignore her which is working much better.  The attitude is usually about me taking something away from her (keys) or her wanting to feed herself or wanting to stand instead of just sit.

She is army crawling well enough to get whatever she wants but it has to be something she REALLY wants!  She will get up on her knees but hasn't figured out how to move them...tummy scooching is easier.  She can pull up from a sitting position onto most things but still doesn't always remember to tuck her leg behind her...she just tries to do a pull-up directly from a sitting position!  So needless to say my arms are exhausted by the end of the day holding her while she stands/cruises.  The sweetest thing is she will now crawl into my lap and just sit with me to play (yea, she's a little attached to mama...what can I say?!).  She also does this "shy" act where when someone says hi to her she buries her head into my shoulder and looks at them out of the corner of her eye and gives a sheepish grin!  She loves to dance, clap, make silly faces/growl, share things, cuddle with stuffed animals, read books, splash in the tub, and be tickled.

This week we have been working on consolidating her down from three to two naps a day....one 30 minute nap in the morning and then about 1 to 2 hours in the afternoon.  She is pretty tired come bedtime at 7 and this has been hard for me because my system is still not right after that dumb flu shot I got on Monday:  serious tummy issues....let's just say the weight I managed to gain I think I have lost in the past few days :(

She can't go from laying to sitting yet, but one day I went in after a nap and sure enough she was sitting!  She must have pulled on the bumper...hasn't done it since!
This is what I normally see when I lay her down to sleep or come in the room after sleeping...peek-a-boo!!
